Quick combo guard is a tough up-tempo guard on offense that can play lock down defense 94 feet. A nice change of speed with the ball and feet froze defenders all day as she got the paint again. Strong finisher at the goal that protected the ball from being deflected while changing body angles to avoid the shot from being blocked. The threat of her outside shot keeps the defense honest open gaps for her to attack.
On defense her quick lateral movement and hands gave ball handlers trouble in the front court. Nice communication on ball screen calling them out and getting through the screen. 2026 guard that has received college interest

Thornton showed out the previous week at the #Super64, so her encore performance was just as good. Her “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline immediately grabbed my attention, but she’s an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. Her first step is strong, so are her finishes off the dribble, yet her court vision and pull-up jumper need to be mentioned as well
