Kaylin McKoy Kaylin McKoy 5'6" | CG Oak City Prep | 2025 State NC is a slashing guard who finishes well at the rim. She is also an elite defender. She creates multiple steals each game for her team in the press as well as the half-court. McKoy has the ability to create several steals per game because of her urgency on defense. She closes traps well and has quick hands that lead to easy scoring opportunities in transition.

Kaylin McKoy is definitely a fun guard to watch with her ability to play well on both ends. She reads her opponents knowing exactly how to mirror her hands blocking their view and their passes grabbing steals. She’s quick handling the ball pushing it up the court, and she makes nice adjustments at the rim to score her points. She can easily set herself up around the perimeter, too, knocking down her shot from deep.

Kaylin McKoy continues to show off her stroke around the perimeter. She had a nice steal grabbing the bounce pass before it reached its destination, and she turned it up the court for a fast break. She always keeps her eyes peeled up the court to find her open teammates, and she makes strong plays on both ends of the court.

Kaylin McKoy is another athlete who has a new home this high school season taking her sharp shooting with her. She is very fluid with the ball knowing how to use crossovers to make her defenders lose their balance as she gets by them, or she can step back and knock down her shot from all over the court. She isn’t afraid to force her way to the rim finishing through contact.

Mckoy is the lead guard for the Clayton High School attack. She is also one of the top 2025 players in NC. She is a player that can get in the paint and can score around the basket. She also uses her body well to finish in traffic. She is active defensively and that activity create a ton of opportunities for steal and deflections. She plays at her own pace and seems to have a knack for getting her teammates shots in ideal areas.

Kaylin McKoy Kaylin McKoy 5'6" | CG Oak City Prep | 2025 State NC runs the offense for the Lady Comets, and you can see how she looks at the court with the way she passes and directs her teammates to make the best decision in order for them to score some points. She had a nice deep three at the buzzer at the end of the first quarter. Her shooting continued knocking them down from deep responding to a strong shooting opponent. Her ability to whip a pass up full court with one hand is high level finding her teammates for some transition points. She does a nice job relocating after her passes to get open and knock down her shot even in transition. She knew how to take advantage of her defender being a half step off to explode to the basket. She sees the floor well knowing how to change her speed and direction with ease pushing the tempo bringing the ball up the court.
