Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am always the first to set a screen or to find a way to open up the lane from my point guard. I don’t believe in selfish Basketball. A team plays together, scores together, and wins together. Either bus, bench, or in the paint, you need to be engaged and work together. I work hard every day to be that kind of player and teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

#WalkTallTalkSmallPlayBall is what I’ve been taught to live by. You don’t need to say much if you carry yourself with confidence and do your best to be a good teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

2022 American Heart Association National Teen of Impact, NJHS, Team Houston Weight Lifting, actively supported and featured fundraiser for HighrUp Texas, Bay Area Turning Point, and Communities in Schools

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I started playing basketball at the community rec center when I was four. Not only did it help open doors for me to try other sports like fencing, soccer, and yoga, but learning about being on a team and what that truly means has helped turn me into the person that I am today. It helped me discover that I am better when I am active and keep on a schedule.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My mother has had seven major heart surgeries since I was in kindergarten, and all of our family is in other states. I have had to be strong and resilient, and my mom and dad have taught me to value and respect the connections we’ve made here, especially through my Basketball teams.
