About Kelly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I enjoy a fast paced game, working the paint, with some mid-range jumpers. Defense wins games, and I like to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am fairly outgoing introvert that enjoys a challenge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a class leader, work with my teammates and encourage them to workout with me before/after school, and have many volunteer hours under my belt. I also teach 3/4 grade CCD classes at church and have for the last two years.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was a child, I bounced around between my parents and grandparents because both of my parents were in the Army. It taught me how to be flexible and resilient in the face of adversity and hard times.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has coaches and professors that work with athletes/students and want to see them succeed. Academics are important to me, therefore having open and willing professors that are encouraging and mentor students is a big plus.

Cole is a constant work horse in the paint. She did a nice job sealing her man, working them up the lane and holding them off long enough to receive the lob pass for an easy finish. When she does catch the ball on the low block, she’s versed in up and under and step through move. She is a rare breed in today’s game as she posses instincts of a true 4 or 5.
