Kelly Hatfield Kelly Hatfield 5'4" | SG/PG Cumberland Gap | 2027 TN proved to be a good wing defender and perimeter shooter in her junior season.

Hatfield, as a shooter, is mainly a catch-and-shoot threat. She does a good job of creating open looks for herself by off-ball movement as well as just having patience and waiting for an overcommitment from an opposing defender. Last season, she had multiple games where her perimeter shot was impactful. This includes a game against Washburn High School where she had four made 3-pointers.

Hatfield, defensively, is a SG who has great IQ. She is at a high level in reading passes and also reading an opponent when they are on the dribble. With that, she can get an influx of steals by both timing up a steal on a player dribbling and a player making a pass. In a game against Eagleton College and Career Academy last season, she had a total of eight steals using both skills.
