Theurer and the Cardinals are looking to take the next step after flying into the 1A DII state tournament with one loss last season. Eventual state runner-up Linn handled them by double digits in the quarterfinals. Theurer, who averaged 8.2 points after putting up 10 per game in 2024, is among the group of seniors who have never missed a state tournament. The Rangy guard is a strong two-way player who is disruptive at the top of full court pressure, handles and finishes at speed in transition and has a quick trigger with bounce from the perimeter. The South Central Boarder League first team selection shot up 40 spots to #208.
