One of the biggest strengths in her game this spring was her ability to control pace. Price did a great job slowing the game down when needed while also pushing in transition and creating easy scoring opportunities. She also displayed improved confidence offensively, especially from the perimeter and attacking off the dribble. Her overall consistency and growth this spring make her another guard deserving of more attention in the rankings conversation.

Kendal Price Kendal Price 5'6" | PG Mooresville | 2027 IN had a solid showing during her first game of the weekend at The Classic Tournament. One of the biggest things that stood out about her performance was her decision-making and ability to stay under control while running the offense.

Price consistently took the right shots throughout the game and did not force unnecessary opportunities. She showed patience with the basketball and understood when to attack and when to get her teammates involved. As a point guard, she did a very good job of controlling the pace and keeping the offense organized.

What makes Price effective is her ability to balance facilitating with scoring. While she was focused on getting her teammates involved, she also looked confident finding her own offense and getting quality shots up when the opportunity presented itself. Her ability to manage both roles made her a steady presence on the floor throughout the game.

Price’s poise, shot selection, and ability to lead the offense helped her make a strong impression during the opening day of the tournament.

In my times seeing Kendal over the last year or so, she has been a heady, hard-working, versatile point guard who can fill different roles from the lead spot. She can take care of the ball, initiate the offense, and facilitate when that’s needed. She also has nice athleticism, can create off the dribble, or knock down open shots when in rhythm, if needed to score. Defensively, she will compete, she is aware and effortful as well, she will make a lot of hustle plays, like grab loose balls & rebounds.

Kendal continues to improve each time I see her. She seems to definitely be putting in the time to work on her game. She has nice length, she’s getting stronger, and she’s pretty active and quick-footed. She does a nice job defensively of using her length and quickness on the ball, and she can create some turnovers off the ball as well. Offensively, she is a selfless passer, but she can also knock down an open rhythm jumper. Following some graduations, and I am curious to see what kind of role she plays for Mooresville this Winter.
