has proven that she is superior skill-wise compared to her competition at the high school level over the past four years. There is no other way to put it. Boatman can do whatever she wants on that side of the ball so it’s nice to see that she is willing to get to the line, instead of only launching three’s or bad attempts from the outside. Anyone else would take it easy and just shoot from deep but not Boatman. She gives it to her opponents at every level offensively, which is something you LOVE to see. All in all, Boatman is going to be a stud for Cornell in college across the board. She is talented enough to play right away if she continues to work on her weaknesses this off-season. She just needs to stay motivated and the rest will be history.

is going to continue to shine this Winter and into the college level once she gets there following this Senior season. Boatman has been killing it in the scoring department the past few months. She recently recorded a single game scoring record by posting a 40 ball in one of their crushing victories not too long ago. If you step back and look at Boatman and then you look at the competition her high school has to play against – you’ll notice that she should do WORK against everyone that steps into their way. She is head and shoulders better than everyone else and I’m sure that is not going to change moving into the Playoffs so I can’t wait to see what she puts together moving forward.

has been playing at a high rate while putting up big numbers to start off her Senior campaign. Boatman has had some noteworthy stat lines to say the least this season but the best part about it is that her team is winning as well. That’s what matters. Boatman should continue on with her dominance over the next couple of months as she finishes out her Senior year. She will continue to hit big shots, she will continue to defend like her life depends on it, and she will continue to lead her group all the way until the end. Ideally that’s somewhere during a State run in some fashion but we will see.

from putting on an impressive scoring performance offensively. Boatman ended the contest with a game-high 33 points and she was doing it all. She was hitting shots from deep, posting up in the midrange and attacking, and she got to the bucket a few times too. This game was a close battle to start off. Pella only led by 8 at the half but they stacked onto that in the third and fourth quarters with their depth. That was the biggest issue for Keokuk. They just didn’t have the bodies so Boatman did what she could to try and keep them in it throughout. We are going to hear about Boatman a few more times before she graduates. She is a good hooper, who will continue to put up numbers this Winter for the Chiefs.

is sure to impress this Winter at Keokuk High School for her Senior season. Boatman, a 5’9 CG, has been her team’s main source of production for years now but something she doesn’t get enough credit for is her defensive ability. She is solid as someone that can defend on and off of the ball. She understands when she needs to be on the ball, in help side, or in-between depending where the rock is at. Last Winter Boatman registered a lot go steals throughout her season and I’m sure that won’t change over the next six months. I’m sure she will put up similar, if not better numbers when the dust settles.

I think that everyone is expecting a big season out of Kenda Boatman of Keokuk High School. Boatman, a 5’9 CG and Cornell WBB commit, has always put up numbers on the Varsity floor ever since she was a Freshman. She is her team’s main scoring threat, she rebounds hard, she assists others that become open when she is double teamed at times, and she defends her position at a thorough rate. So much so that she registered 122 steals in 23 games as a Junior. Boatman should be right around this number once again this season in the steals department. She will have the same role as year’s past so I don’t expect much to change in reality.

is going to put up a massive stat line as a Senior this Winter at Keokuk High School. Boatman should not only kill it on the defensive side of things but she should also lead her program offensively as a scorer, creator, facilitator, and rebounder. She is a three level scoring threat with a smart head on her shoulders when it comes to situational stuff. She can also keep it simple or put some flash on whatever she is attempting. It’s really whatever the given situation might call for. Boatman is going to be a name we hear out of the state of Iowa for years to come with her commitment to D3 – Cornell. If she can carry her momentum from the past four years onto the next level, she is going to be able to look back at her basketball career as a really proud competitor.

. Boatman has been a hot topic this Spring with how many offers she is pulling. She has interest or offers from almost every D3 program you can name in the Midwest, as well as some NAIA offers, and some D2 looks. Well she showed why she has all these offers on Thursday. She made impactful plays down the stretch of her team’s games, while demonstrating a picture perfect shooting stroke from deep. The combination of those two things alone will carry her to the next level. I’m not sure who is going to get her at the end of the day but whoever it is, is getting a baller.

was recently mentioned by myself a week or so ago because of the offer she received from the college level to kick off her AAU season. Since then, Boatman has been on two more visits and she has received two more offers as well, adding to her stockpile at the moment. KB is a competitor. Someone at the guard position that wants to win no matter what it takes. When it comes to what she can really do, Boatman is an aggressive but calculated attacker with the basketball. She can produce at all three levels using her body angles and physicality to make good lean-way while getting down hill. She can also move off the ball and catch-to-kill her defender in a number of ways. She is an able and willing passer with better than average vision. All while she never takes breaks on defense. She just keeps it moving. Like we said above, Boatman possesses a good amount of interest and offers. If she stays uncommitted the rest of this AAU season, she might hit 20/30 offers in totality by the time she commits.

. Boatman just made the switch to Missouri Phenom out of Iowa and frankly her team is loaded with college level talent. Not only is that going to help her compete in live games but it will also sharpen up her skills in practice. This week Boatman received her most recent offers from Elmhurst College out of Illinois and Central (Dutch) College out of Iowa. These are two more offers to add to the pile for Boatman as she is starting to have them stack up. I’m sure with this Spring/Summer on the road, those offers are only going to continue to grow until she commits. Which is a good problem to have.
