About Kenna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My favorite gameplay style is fast-paced.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a serious player who prides myself on communication with my teammates. I am a servant leader and enjoy playing with others who love the game as much as I do and who want to give back to their community and help younger players.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer with the Osseo Maple Grove Basketball Association's Intro to Basketball program. For five weeks in the fall and five weeks in the winter, I help kindergartners learn the fundamentals of basketball. I have been invite to pursue membership in the National Honor Society at my school. I also volunteer every year at a church festival with one of our close family friends.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills as a result of our team being so young and having limited to no senior leadership. During my community service, I have developed strong communication skills interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds.

She shoots, she scores! That might be a play-by-play announcer’s phrase that’s more common in hockey than basketball but it most certainly applies to Henning’s game on the hardwood. Kenna is a pure shooter who has unlimited range from three and impressive numbers at the free throw line. She can get to the rim, as well, and averaged over 15 points per game last season for Heritage Christian Academy in Plymouth. What we saw on Sunday was much-improved mobility on the court and more polished footwork since our last viewing, enhancements that will serve her well on both sides of the ball going forward. Henning has grown bigger and stronger, too. Kenna definitely raised her stock at the Expo.
