Franklin was one of the Hard To Guard standouts a year ago at the Super 64, yet catching up with her at the Sophomore ID Camp blew me away see evaluations here, and one thing I love seeing is “on the court” progression. She scored multiple ways at the camp, but gave me even more on Saturday, and her ability to overpower guards off the dribble- well, forwards too, as well as around the basket spoke volumes. She hit the board and handled the ball in transition, plus her court vision across the board looked good, along with her defense

Franklin gave me a lasting first impression at last season’s PBR Super 64 on my Hard To Guard Tip Sheet see evaluation here, and she continues to prove me right. Her crossover created issues for defenders in the set, as well as in transition, where she also gave me the “stop and pop,” plus her body control after contact is stronger

Franklin acted as an on-court air traffic controller, constantly calling out commands to direct her team’s positioning. She put together a highly efficient scoring display, converting smoothly inside the arc and splashing a deep three-pointer. Franklin also proved valuable as a playmaker, securing a clean steal and dropping an immediate, accurate pass to an open teammate. Her poise stands out; she plays with complete control and stays unrattled under showcase pressure. She was an absolute pleasure to watch on the court.

Showed legitimate three-point range and the confidence to let it fly when she gets a clean look. Stays ready on the perimeter and provides spacing by making the defense respect her outside shot. Has the ability to stretch the floor and be a catch & shoot option when teammates penetrate and kick.

Franklin’s athleticism is noteworthy. She used this to attack and score. She can create her own shot and also uses enhanced court vision to get her teammates involved. She made a dent on the defensive end as well.

Franklin was another “long and athletic” guard who applied “on the ball” pressure in the set as well as in transition, but her diving on the floor for loose balls gets the #THROWBACK hashtag. She scored off the dribble, body control after contact was nice and helped play a part in that and she dropped the jumper
