Kennedy McCray is a talented guard with an impressive all-around game. She is a smart and efficient player with excellent court vision and passing ability. McCray has a smooth shooting stroke, both from the perimeter and on pull-up jumpers. She can also finish at the rim with either hand, displaying her athleticism and agility.
Defensively, McCray is a huge asset on the perimeter with quick hands and good anticipation. She is able to anticipate passes and make plays on the ball, leading to turnovers and fast breaks for her team. Her basketball IQ is also impressive, as she makes smart decisions on both ends of the court.

Kennedy has been mentioned in many PGH Circuit articles and she was one the guards that led her travel team; Alabama Twisters Elite to a top ten finish in the Triumph Region of the circuit this year. Kennedy has the ability to score from anywhere on the court, has very good ball handling skill and can create easy-scoring opportunities for her teammates. Kennedy has transferred to Hoover HS, and will definitely fit in with their high powered offense and smothering defense in their quest for another state title.
