With graduations and injuries, expect Youngs’ role to increase during her junior campaign. Previously, she proved capable as a secondary offensive weapon. However, Youngs’ skill set allows her to take on a larger role. Defensively, Youngs is disruptive on the wing and excels in passing lanes. As a result, she can shut down an entire side of an offense. Meanwhile, she is unafraid of taking difficult shots in key moments. Additionally, Youngs’ ability to settle the offense provides stability when needed. In transition, Youngs’ speed helps her push the break. Furthermore, her athleticism allows her to finish at the rim. With greater responsibility expected this season, look for Young to answer the call.
