Great scorer at 5’6 she looks like a natural combo guard but point guard looks to be her position at the next level. As a point guard, she controls the floor, orchestrating plays and making an impact on both ends of the court. With good lateral speed and movement she has proved that she’s a true D1 prospect that already held D1 offers! Last season she was amongst the leaders in points steals and assists for her high school team. She finished up her AAU career and had a good spring and summer with the Elevate Elite 17U 3SSB team!

Evans is a skilled point guard who plays with patience and composure, using her shiftiness, quickness, and change of pace to break down defenders and create scoring opportunities. Having surpassed 1,000 career points as a junior, she can score at all three levels, stretch defenses with her shooting range, and control the tempo as a facilitator. She also brings consistent on-ball defensive pressure, turning steals into transition opportunities, and holds offers from Gardner-Webb, Stony Brook, Mount St. Mary’s, and William & Mary.

Evans has handled point guard responsibilities in previous seasons, showcasing her ability to guide the offense. However, a recent roster addition should allow her to play off the ball more frequently and embrace her natural scoring role. A downhill threat who can also stretch the floor, Evans generates offense in several ways. That versatility should give her opportunities to attack gaps, finish at the basket, and punish defenses from the perimeter. Meanwhile, she brings a physical approach defensively, using pressure and disruption to interrupt opposing offenses and force turnovers.

Brittany Evans Brittany Evans 5'6" | PG King's Fork | 2027 State VA enters her senior season as a second-team All-State guard with Division I interest. After spending much of her time on the ball, she could see more opportunities to play off it. That shift would allow Evans to develop her all-around guard skills while remaining a major scoring threat.

Evans can score at all three levels, and Kings Fork will need even more from her this season. If she delivers, the Bulldogs have a strong chance to play into March.

A lightning-quick scoring guard, Evans could receive more opportunities to play off the ball this season. Incoming talent should reduce her ball-handling responsibilities. As a result, she can focus on finding scoring opportunities within the offense. Evans attacks traffic confidently and finishes through contact. Additionally, she can punish defenses with her shooting from beyond the arc. Her perimeter firepower should perfectly complement the interior production of her teammates.

This underrated point guard is simply elusive.

If I may borrow an old country phrase, you could not hit Evans in the back with a handful of rice. Simply put, she is incredibly difficult to stay in front of.

Her low center of gravity and explosive first step allow her to consistently beat defenders off the bounce. As a result, containing Evans often becomes a multiple-defender responsibility.

However, that is where she becomes even more dangerous. Evans recognizes additional defenders and exposes them with her ability to distribute from penetration.

She can feed the block, find shooters on the wing, or continue attacking in transition. Defensively, Evans brings that same relentless mentality. She can pick up opposing ball handlers baseline-to-baseline and make them work every step up the floor.

Eventually, that pressure can frustrate opponents into rushed decisions, poor passes, and turnovers. Already holding college offers, Evans has clearly caught the attention of programs at the next level.

With one high school season remaining, expect that attention to continue growing. Until signing day arrives, Evans will remain one of Virginia’s most entertaining point guards to watch.

Evans is a skilled guard who plays with impressive patience and composure, allowing the game to develop before making her move.
