Last year when I first had the chance to see Kennedy Princehouse Kennedy Princehouse 5'6" | SG Waukee NW | 2027 State IA compete, I was impressed with the energy and skill level that she brought to the court. Since then, she has seemly gotten better and she is ready to make that clear this Winter with her Waukee NW team. There are a lot of prospects out there that are dedicated to the game but one of the most dedicated is Princehouse. On this trajectory, she will continue to be a factor for her Battlers AAU program and her Waukee NW High School program at the end of the day. The NW program is going to shock several people this upcoming season if their players compete to their full capabilities. There is no doubt in my mind and in that conversation, Princehouse will get a chance to make a name for herself, even more than she already has at this point.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Kennedy Princehouse Kennedy Princehouse 5'6" | SG Waukee NW | 2027 State IA is coming off of a Freshman season where she didn’t see the Varsity floor a whole lot and that’s okay. Princehouse has length, knowledge of the game, and quickness in her first step. She is skilled enough to score over a smaller opponent near the rim or she can back it out and hit some shots in the midrange with a picture perfect shot form. Her physical and mental growth over the next few seasons is going to decide where she falls in our rankings for the 2027 Class but as for now, I’m expecting a productive season from Princehouse. She has all the intangibles to be one of the best on this team, she just needs to go out and have confidence in her work. Something I’m sure we can expect right from the tip off of their first game this upcoming weekend in Lincoln.

Kennedy Princehouse Kennedy Princehouse 5'6" | SG Waukee NW | 2027 State IA was one of the sharpshooters on this team! This player can shoot the ball at a high level and knows how to move without the basketball. She understands how to come off of off ball screens to get open and understands to stay tight and create contact to get open. One thing that stood out is this player knows her identity within the game and plays within herself. Waukee Northwest High School is lucky to have this player! She’s someone who is intelligent and understands what she needs to do in order to put her team in a position to win.
