Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a hardworking, focused player who always hustles. I contribute in transition, bring the ball up when needed, and consistently communicate with and support my teammates. My style is team-oriented, and I always look for ways to help my team succeed on both ends of the floor.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I would describe my personality as funny, supportive, and encouraging. Off the court, I enjoy laughing and having fun with my teammates, building strong relationships. On the court, I’m serious, focused, and determined to win. Even when we have lighthearted moments during games, I know how to lock back in and get the job done.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes, I’m currently a member of the National Honor Society at Washington County Early College and part of the Junior NAACP Youth Branch. I’ve earned A/B Honor Roll and have been on the Principal’s List during both my freshman and sophomore years of high school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership, teamwork, and service-oriented skills through my involvement in school, church, and the community. As a student leader, I’ve helped organize events and fundraisers. Through my role in the National Honor Society and Junior NAACP. I’ve had the opportunity to speak at meetings, assist with planning service projects, and participate in community outreach efforts.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is overcoming low confidence, especially during games. I used to doubt myself, but I’ve grown stronger mentally and now focus on trusting the hard work and hours I’ve put into my development. I continue to push myself to stay locked in and play with belief in my abilities.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that values both academics and athletics. Somewhere I can grow not just as an athlete, but as a student and into womanhood. I want to be part of a competitive women’s basketball program that challenges me to improve and have a coach who supports me both on and off the court. Someone who believes in developing the whole person, not just the player.
