About Kerigan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play at a fast pace and try to make smart decisions with the ball. I look to create smart assists for my teammates, but I’m also always moving to get open and be ready to score when the opportunity is there. I focus on keeping the offense flowing and making the right play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to stay calm, coachable, and team-first. I love the game and work hard to keep improving every day. I’m competitive, but I also focus on staying positive and being a good teammate, especially during tough moments.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I stay involved in school and focus on my academics as well as basketball. I’ve participated in school activities and take pride in being a respectful and hardworking student-athlete on and off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed leadership and teamwork by learning how to communicate and keep everyone involved. As a point guard, I try to lead by example, stay positive, and make sure my teammates are doing well. I’ve also learned to be unselfish, listen to coaching, and do what’s best for the team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced challenges like staying confident during tough games and learning to stay consistent. There have been times where things didn’t go my way, but I’ve learned to keep working, stay patient, and trust the process. Those moments have helped me grow mentally and become a better teammate.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college where I can continue to grow as a player and as a person. A program that values teamwork, development, and hard work is important to me. I also want a school where I can succeed academically and be part of a positive team culture.
