Up and down game for Moore in a tough battle against one of the top teams in the state. Even on a court filled with outstanding athletes, the long and athletic hybrid forward stood out with her movement at her height. Had some good finishes at the rim. Running the floor hard in transition and establishing position on the block. But also left some points on the board with misses around the basket. Clean that up and she can turn good games into great games for the Pioneers. And better set herself up for next level success.

Moore led the Lady Pioneers with 17 points. Was a key part of them extending the lead and running away with the game in the second half. For Moore, it was literally running. She’s a killer in transition. Agile and with long arms, she covers a lot of ground on defense. Leading to deflections and outright steals. Then she’s capable of going coast to coast herself. With a variety of moves to finish around defenders on drives. Would like to see more post up play when she has the height advantage in the halfcourt. But a very promising start to her senior season.

Even on highlights, the athleticism jumps off the screen for Moore. She skies for blocks, and runs the floor with outstanding speed and grace. Had one really nice sequence where she got the steal, pitched it ahead, kept running and get rewarded with a bucket. Looked agile and dangerous when rolling off screens. While also cleaning up the offensive glass. Impressive spring for Moore, who recently picked up an offer from NSU. Which with her combo of athleticism and motor, it’s not shocking and should be a strong target. As there’s a lot of upside to her athletic profile.

Khalia had an incredible performance in a key district game against Muskogee High School, finishing with 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 blocks. She was just 6 points away from breaking the school record for the most points scored in a single game. Her dominant play on both ends of the court helped lead her team, and she came up just short of making history with that record-breaking performance.

#605 Long athletic small forward that can play the 3-5 positions on the floor. Showed a strong pound dribble over the left shoulder move in both 3/3 and 5/5 play that was hard to defend. It was in 5 on 5 play that she showed her athletic ability of running the floor on both ends of the floor. Showed nice mid range jump shot about 15 feet out. The high percentage high post jumper stretched the defender out leaving the option to attack the rim.
Defensively very effective on the post using solid footwork to get around the post getting the deflection and several steals. Great rotation in help provided a rim protector as she continued to block shots all afternoon. A player that has a great upside and should be one to keep an eye on this season and next summer

A very athletic small forward can play the 3-4 position on the floor. Nice back to the basket game using her body to find the defense and patiently make her move. Good touch around the rim that used her athletic ability and length to get around the much taller defender. At the 3 spot showed nice mid range shot and lot of hops working her way around the defender.
A 6’0 forward that i expect to have a strong junior season

A few clips that get to the point; Moore knows how to operate out of the post. Good mix of patience and decisive play. The patience to know when to pass out and hit teammates. Or when to attack by using her quickness and long arms to quickly score. Good mentality to go with the obvious good physical traits that make her a rising colligate prospect.

The prospect from Stillwater first caught the eye for her combination of height, plus athleticism and willingness to do the dirt work around the rim. She used her natural abilities to block shots, crash the glass and in general get her nose dirty as a scrappy player. Moore still looked a bit raw offensively, but the drive and natural traits she has makes her an interesting prospect with an untapped ceiling.

The first thing that stood out to me was her size, length and the way she ran the floor. She is physical like a power forward but moves like a small forward. Always around the rim whether it is for rebound or to catch a pass to finish a baby bank shot. Impressive step through on the drive still allowed her to be aggressive on the drive without getting called for a charge. A relentless rebounder always getting a hand some how on the ball to keep it alive. Moved well without the ball cutting several times for a an easy basket. A player that should be on coaches radar.
