About Khloie
Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The left-handed Stanley is small but she’s strong. Khloie is an ultra-aggressive defender who excels at rebounding from her guard position. She is able to spark transition scoring opportunities and is adept at rotating down to block shots.

We remember Stanley’s name – and her play – from Peach Games last month that earned her First Team recognition. Stanley brought more of that to Columbus this past weekend. When watching Stanley play, one could see that a talent such as herself would lead her Gryphons of Academy for Classical Education to its first-ever playoff victory. Stanley brings plenty of toughness, plenty of playmaking ability and superb defense – including on the perimeter. She led her Macon Mystics 2028 team scoring-wise in its 15U championship contest with 15 points against Now Elite 15U. Big time players step up in big moments – she had seven of her team’s 13 second-half points in that contest.

Stanley was the other of the two Macon Mystics participants that earned First-Team 15U honors from Peach Games. The contest her team had against Team Unleashed South Carolina was more of a low-scoring get-together, but it went the way of her team thanks to Stanley’s play. She also has an ability to make tough shots and plays with a fearless attitude every single second she is on the court. Stanley can give a team worthwhile minutes at either the one or the two. The steals she collects can lead to additional possessions for a team’s offense and she keeps her mind in the game at all times.

The other team that finished Peach Games with a 4-0 mark was Macon Mystics 2028. Stanley’s team was locked in a tough matchup against North Metro Elite 15U on Sunday – one of the games of that day’s play. With 19 points, Stanley ensured that the aforementioned contest went her team’s way in what was a clash of 3-0 squads. The tough defense she plays can certainly leave opposing offenses turnover-prone and Stanley is also very efficient as a transition playmaker. That toughness also extends into her willingness to draw contact to get to the free-throw line. When watching her play, one can see why her Academy for Classical Education team last season finished with a mark of 21-5 last season.

Sunday’s card at Peach Games included an early afternoon contest of 3-0 unbeatens in Macon Mystics 15U and North Metro Elite 15U. With Stanley contributing 19 points to the central Georgia team’s cause, she put an exclamation point on her weekend and ensured her team would be one of those departing from Peach Games sans a blemish on its schedule. Defensively, she is a threat to corral plenty of steals and create additional possessions for her team’s offense. Stanley plays with a heads-up mentality on both ends of the floor which comes in useful when looking to make plays in transition.
