Kierra Morrow was tough in the paint blocking the path of her opponents and grabbing rebounds.  She had some solid shot blocks in the paint, too.  She was sealing off her defenders easily putting her hands up making herself a big target and letting her guards know where she wants the pass.  Her movements shift the defense whether she is driving to the hoop or making a move without the ball.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC is a force on the court. She scored 19 points for the Cannon School. Morrow has the ability to score in bunches. She is also a  worker on the glass and leads her team in rebounds per game. Morrow is a versatile player who can score in the paint or from the three-point line as well. She is a special talent who has already committed to play college basketball at Elon University. 

Kierra Morrow was showing her IQ flashing all across the court looking for the opening and getting the pass.  She is so strong with the ball attacking the basket getting to the rim.  She didn’t need to drive to the hoop, though, as she can definitely knock down her shot from around the perimeter which she did on multiple occasions.  On defense, she comes out of nowhere deflecting passes protecting the basket.

Kierra Morrow’s Cannon team is looking for some new leadership with the graduation of Samhya Suffren, and I think Morrow is going to be a good candidate to step up.  She’s incredibly versatile with what she can do on the court being able to handle her business on the block down low, and she can step outside running some guard positions facilitating the offense.  She uses a combination of her ball handling and post moves to attack the basket and score some points.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC was strong in the paint blocking shots and getting rebounds.  Her ability to handle the ball using her body to protect the possession is certainly an asset as she scores from the entry pass or off her own dribble.  She even showed off her range shooting the ball from deep.  She was doing well on defense not letting her post player opponent score on her.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC was strong on the block using power dribbles to get points off the glass, and she rebounded well on both ends of the court.  She had a nice shot fake at the top of the key getting by her defender and scoring some points easily.  Her ability to flash across the court was certainly a struggle for her opponents to keep up with.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC is a three level scorer certain to continue showing off that throughout this travel season.  She can knock down her shots from deep or make some nice change of speed moves to pull up for her midrange jumper.  She is quick using ball fakes to get around her defenders as she drives to the basket finishing on both sides of the rim.  She can make some nice post moves, especially off an offensive rebound being ready to put it right back up for some points.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC is constantly moving on the court whether she is crashing boards or shifting the defense with her movement on the offensive side of the ball.  She can knock down shots from deep, and she is great when it comes to flashing in the paint for the pass and bucket.  She will certainly bring some strong scoring to Cannon this year, and she hustles after loose balls making sure her team is the one who comes out on top.

Kierra Morrow Kierra Morrow 5'10" | SF Cannon | 2024 State NC found a new home at Cannon where she will get plenty of opportunities to show off her moves.  She had a nice little step back move pushing her defender away from her in order to show off her jump shot.  She was great at sneaking behind her opponents to get the pass and some points.  She showed off her stroke from deep as well.
