Carroll was singing tunes in the 3rd grade when she made my Tip Sheet, and I knew she was going to create some problems down the road because she was HEADY, did things INSTINCTIVELY, as well as how she REACTED in certain situations. That’s one of my formulas when I evaluate younger players, yet her “not being FAZED playing against older players, see evaluations here, so watching her understand how to take games over when needed has been a pleasure for me

Carroll is one of those players I caught early and knew that she was going to be special. Her first Tip Sheet from me was when she was in the 3rd grade, and her doing things instinctively against older players and not being afraid sold me. She’s also a “long and athletic” guard, and seeing her read the court and come from out of nowhere to play the passing lane helped change the momentum several times. Well, her jumper did the same thing, so did her acrobatic finishes, yet her defensive pressure was also a huge plus

Carroll has been singing hits since I first wrote about her in the 3rd grade, yet her ability to handle the pressure being applied to her and deliver with clutch baskets has always been a plus. She does a good job of running her team and getting others involved, court vision across the board is huge, and her “on the ball” pressure is another big plus

Carroll is a “Tip Sheet” waiting to happen, and I can always count on her being able to “BRING IT” on both ends of the court. Her setting the defender up in the half-court to attack and score has always been a treat, even when I first saw her in the 3rd grade. Yet her jumper, “stop and pop” in transition included, gives her options and keeps the defender guessing. She has solid court vision and defense.

Carroll has been singing a solid tune since she made my Tip Sheet in the 2nd or 3rd grade, I can’t remember because I’m old and she reminded me. What doesn’t get old is watching her slyness on defense to pick pockets as well as playing the passing lane yet her seeing the floor in transition has gotten better, plus her mid to long-range created some problems

Carroll is one of the top guards in the Texas 2026 class and every time she steps on the court, you’re going to see it because she makes things happen. She’s a “long and athletic” guard with a very nice first step that can leave defenders standing. Her body control after contact was nice, and so was her jumper as well as court vision plus she applied “on the ball” pressure

Carroll tickled me a couple of years ago when she said “you wrote about me when I was in the 4th grade” so I went back to search bar and smiled because once again, I was on the money. Her explosiveness has always been a problem, as well as her being able to score off the dribble, as well as mid to long-range yet her on the ball defense, playing the passing lane and showing timing to block shots all stood out

Carroll is a “long and athletic” guard and watching her elevate her game every year since I saw her VERY EARY in her career, nothing is surprising to me about what she’s doing and will do. She handles the ball well under pressure and her first step, in the set as well as in transition is really nice but she can dish it in traffic going full speed, while being defended. Her mid to long-range is nice, so is her attacking and finishing after contact, solid body control

Carroll is so fun to watch as she is a long and athletic guard that understands how to use her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her first step can leave the defender cemented to the court, yet her acrobatic finishes, after contact, place her in the “highlight waiting to happen” category. She has very good court vision, in the set as well as in transition, she drops the jumper, mid to long range but her “on the ball” defense is also solid

Carroll continues to sing tunes that are hits and seeing her at both the HCU Camp as well as the Girls TABC Showcase took me back to that 3rd grader I wrote about being special. I’ll catch her today at the Peggy Whitley Classic and watching her take over games “in the flow” has been nice for me. She blows by defenders off the dribble, she elevates on her jumper to drop the mid to long-range over outstretched hands yet her “seeing the floor” both in the set as well as in transition is also nice, so is the “on the ball” pressure she applies on the defensive end
