Johnson created plenty of buzz as a freshman, dropping 40 plus in a game with maybe 10 of them being from BTA, but I wasn’t there, so I had to see for myself see evaluations here, and it didn’t take me long to realize she was hard to handle offensively. What I like about her is that she has continued to show “on the court progression” and her defending both inside and outside the paint, along with playing the passing lane, is nice

Johnson created plenty of buzz as a freshman as she erupted for 40-plus points in a game, and I couldn’t wait to see her. Her ability to knock down the long ball in pressure situations is among the best in the state, yet her defensive pressure baseline to baseline has shot up, so has her rebounding and being able to go coast to coast to score or dish, while being defended

Johnson understands something very simple and that’s how to put the ball into the basket. I had parents telling me about a freshman who dropped 40 in a game so watching her several times over the past 2 seasons has been nice. mId to long-range was clicking but her strength around the base overpowered defenders. She also rebounded, on both ends and played the passing lane

Johnson is one of the top scorers in Texas and when you factor in how powerful she is off the dribble as well as around the basket, at times it appears she scores with players hanging on her, yes, she’s that strong but peep this. She understands how to create her shot and drops the mid to long-range with a hand in her face. She also does a good job rebounding as well as defending

Johnson kept me intrigued from a far and although I may not have 20/20 anymore, didn’t need because she opened my eyes and sight by overpowering defenders, not only ff the dribble to score but inside the paint around the basket, putbacks included. She also showed the “stop and pop” jumper in transition and also played the passing lane

Johnson has the college ready frame right now and the game is there as well because she is one of the most powerful guards, that can play, in the state. She can post up smaller players and score around the basket, well she does that against taller ones also, yet her mid to long-range is smooth and consistent. She scores off the dribble, after contact and does a good job rebounding and defending

Johnson is strong and powerful and at times, she shows she can simply takeover games offensively either posting up smaller guards around the basket to score, after contact, or spot up and drop the jumper, her mid to long-range is solid. She also can score off the dribble and at times, seeing her score with players literally hanging on her should help paint the picture yet she does a good job “seeing the floor” with crisp on the money passes. Solid rebounder, on both ends and defends in the set as well as baseline to baseline

Johnson gave me yet another glimpse of her ability to find ways to put the ball in the basket. Her strength is overpowering off the dribble and watching her score with players literally hanging on her is something to see. She also does a good job of creating her shot and knocking the mid to long-range down while being defended. Her defense was strong and she played the passing lane
