From the first time I saw Kori on the court for Tahlequah, I knew that she could play D-I if she wanted to. Now that I’ve seen her at what basically amounts to a D-I level practice, I have no doubt. The first thing that stands out when watching Rainwater play is her defense. Not content to just get stops, she wants to take the ball and turn it into offense for her team. She turns blocks into takeaways and looks up court immediately. She is a big who can handle it and has vision, so defense to offense for her team is a beautiful thing. Did I mention she is a big who can shoot it? Oh yeah, there’s that to. Whichever school she chooses, D-I or not, is going to get an absolutely dominant athlete!
