I gotta give a special S/0 to 2025 Mataya Hall Mataya Hall 5'9" | CG Tulsa Memorial | 2025 State OK (Sapulpa HS) Oklahoma Swift Mathurin when I first met her I told her “you may not be related to Carnegie or Arsenio, but you will be a hit”, I was right and she is definitely hitting shots
Gabriella Granda (Liberty HS) Competitive Edge 2024
Granda is one of those players I didn’t write much about but I took several pics because I’m visual, not so much a visionary but “off the dribble” she was hard to handle. She’s long and athletic, that’s the base and she plays the passing lane as well as handles the ball, that stood out as she went C2C
Stella Laubenstein (Round Rock HS) Competitive Edge 2024
Laubenstein is fiery, like her hair and I love watching RED play on both ends because she’s strictly business. Her intensity trickles over to her teammates, she creates her shot for the jumper or attack yet she does a good job “on the ball” defending
Jadyn Butterfly (Tahiequah HS) Fusion 2024
Butterfly floated and definitely stung like a bee as she buzzed around defenders almost effortlessly to get to the basket. Yeah, she creates her shot and showed a deceptive first step but she also added a little flair off the dribble and her ability to create contact was nice as well
Kori Rainwater Kori Rainwater 6'1" | C Tahlequah | 2024 State OK (Tahlequah HS) Fusion 2024
Rainwater just had the “unleash the #BeastMode” as she stepped on the court. Look, I love #THROWBACK stuff, if you don’t know how it was, be quiet and pay attention because she can be overpowering on both ends yet going after that ball was nice, really nice, so were her putbacks
Aliyah Green Aliyah Green 6'0" | PF Andover | 2025 State KS (Kansas United 2024)
Green is “long and athletic, nice first step enables her to attack from multiple angles, she also has good timing and reacts well on defense. Good upside
Grace Posch Grace Posch 5'7" | PG Hutchinson | 2025 State KS (Kansas United 2024)
Posch took me back to yesteryear when I glanced at her name and saw Porsche yet I ain’t got one now but she definitely has the quick release working which includes the “catch and shoot” so as she changes gears, you see what I did, she also can mix it up and score off the dribble
Delaney Roller ( Harbor HS) Oklahoma Swift Mathurin
Roller had a derby of a time showing me she could score multiple ways. I like the pull-up jumper, especially when you can knock it down contested yet I also like her vision and she made some tough passes look easy but guess what else, her defense was solid
Jill Twiehaus Jill Twiehaus 5'10" | SG Jenks | 2024 State OK (Jenks HS) Oklahoma Swift Mathurin
Twiehaus dropped double-digit three pointers in multiple games last season making my All-Shooters team, well if I had one so she didn’t do it this time but she showed me something even more special and that was “she found ways to put the ball in the basket” either by scoring herself or setting her teammates up for opps
Ella Watson (LR Christian HS) Shock 2024
Watson didn’t need Sherlock saying elementary one bit as she took defenders to class with the long ball. Her organization is known for multiple long-ball shooters and she fits the mode but she also picks and chooses her shot, she doesn’t force anything yet finds ways to be effective period
Nevah Shockley (Central HS) Missouri Phenom 16U
Shockley attacked from the left and right, finished the same way, with either hand yet her first step set everything up and as she attacked the rim, she also saw the floor to dish. She handles the ball well, also showed she could see the court in the set
Nellie Simmons Nellie Simmons 6'0" | C Will Roger College | 2024 State OK (Rogers HS) Team Griffin 2024
Simmons was so powerful in the paint, she understands how to use her body and contact means absolutely nothing to her as she finished after the lick. Nice power moves off the dribble, rebounded on both ends and yes, she scored on putbacks
Bella Pherson (Mannford HS) Team Griffin 2024
Pherson attacked so smoothly that I wrote slices to the basket and her cuts and change of pace off the dribble enabled her to get to the rim. She also did a good job defending, playing the passing lane, and even got some rebound
Dylan Koele- HG Elite 2024 S40
Koele wears #24, that’s my favorite free series, well before The Blacklist yet she has a light of black writing of things I listed that she does starting with the base “long and athletic” but she has UPS off the dribble as well as to rebound, on both ends and her smoothness to score around the basket was really nice
Kanaya Carter-HG Elite 2024 S40
Carter has one thing written by her name and that’s timing yet I didn’t need to keep writing and waste my ink because she was INKED in my petabyte of memory with her BATTLING on both ends for everything off the rim, drop that #THOWBACK for desire, something you can’t teach, nor can you teach finishing with players hanging on you
