Brock was efficient from the field, making 8-14 including going 2-3 from deep. She chipped in six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks. Brock sparked the Rebels with a quick 5-0 run, opening up the game with a driving layup and a three-pointer. She then added another triple minutes later. Her relentless energy and hustle set the tone for Columbine. A stellar showing from the standout senior.

Brock delivered a stellar all-around performance for the Rebels, pacing the team with 15 points and 4 assists. Brock used her quickness against the Tigers’ zone, attacking the baseline and making great passes to her teammates. She was nearly perfect for the game; missing just one shot all game. Brock buried a huge three-pointer with 12 seconds left in the first half. Then had a steal moments later, shifting the momentum in favor of the Rebels.

Brock leads her team in rebounds, assists and steals this season and has showcased her all around skill set in the first round against Monarch, racking up 4 steals. Brock should continue this level of production against Columbine in a must win game.

Brock is a gem for the Rebels. She is one of those players who always seems to be open. Whether on a cut through the lane or a skip pass, she’s always in the right spot. Do not let her size fool you, she plays in the paint like a post. Behind strong cuts and even more powerful finishes, her points in the paint are wonderful to watch from a smaller guard. Trying to keep her out of the paint will only move her scoring to other areas of the court. Brock is just as efficient from mid-range and the three, making her a true offensive threat. On the defensive end, she gives up nothing with her size. She can be found on the wing closing out the best of shooters or battling in the paint for boards. Kortney will definitely be an asset that helps Columbine into the post season.
