Samek’s tight on-ball defense and active hands disrupted opponents. She fought over screens, tipped passes, and ripped the ball for a steal. Samek can get to the rim to finish and draw the foul. She can drive and kick out to for the assist. She knocked down some shots and created looks for her teammates, including her sister Kathryn Samek Kathryn Samek Kathryn Samek 6'1" | SG/SF Stayton | 2027 State OR , who was an efficient shooter on Day 1. The Samek’s Stayton squad went 1-2 on the day, defeating a Silverton squad 15-11, and losing to a West Linn and a Lincoln squad 12-10 and 7-6, respectively.
