Tibbs will look back fondly on her time at the 2025 Prep Girls Hoops Circuit given the numbers she posted throughout these past couple of months. One of her team’s games on Triumph Region Finals Saturday featured her team and Now Elite 15U. Tibbs’ team was on the receiving end of a 55-48 decision, but she still tallied 13 points. A stalwart of the interior, Tibbs’ ability to convert on high-percentage shots is supported by her rebounding capabilities. She understands playing in the interior means physicality and she has no problems drawing contact to get to the free throw line. Much of the All Alabama 15U team is comprised of 6A Mae Jemison players so the chemistry developed will serve her and her team well. 

When looking up and down the All Alabama 15U roster, one can notice that there is no shortage of standouts from 6A Mae Jemison. Tibbs is a huge reason why the Jaguars are poised to take that next step in Alabama’s girls basketball landscape. The team’s 45-31 victory over FBC Dynasty 15U was, in many ways, a tone-setter for the week. Tibbs led the way with 12 points. She particularly shined on defense and her ability to see a play before it happens enabled her to collect plenty of steals. Offensively, she displayed what she can get accomplished as a scorer and her rebounding ability was another key factor in her team’s winning ways throughout the weekend. 

Kquiajah showcased her high defensive IQ throughout the tournament, especially with her sharp awareness in rotation. She consistently positioned herself in the right spots at the right times, anticipating passes and reacting quickly to help situations. Her understanding of defensive rotations allowed her to jump into passing lanes and come up with several loose ball steals, turning defensive awareness into momentum-changing plays. Kquiajah’s ability to read the floor and rotate with precision made her a key defensive anchor and a major reason for her team’s success during the tournament.

Tibbs is another of the notable players from 6A Mae Jemison that is a strong indication that winning ways for the Jaguars could be right around the corner. Tibbs, in All Alabama 15U’s matchup with FBC Dynasty 15U – was the team’s leading scorer en route to its victory which made the team 1-0 for this year’s Peach Games. She plays the game effectively in the interior with a strong willingness to work hard for every bucket she compiles. Tibbs understands that playing in the paint means getting physical – something she is more than willing to do. Rebounding is another element to Tibbs’ game which is not indicative of the conventional freshman.
