Kreighton looks like a sparkplug guard who will be a factor for Iowa Prep 17U at our Victory Region Finals. She picks pockets with quick hands on defense and has the dexterity to finish layups with both hands at the rim. Kreighton can play the role of facilitator while also creating her own opportunities off the dribble. I’m excited to see her compete this weekend.

Kreighton Peck Kreighton Peck 5'6" | CG East Buchanan | 2026 State IA of East Buchanan is going to be a big part of her team’s “three-headed” offensive monster. Peck is a Combo Guard with good instincts and a coordinated jumper from an offensive perspective. She can either set up her teammates for success with a nice pass or she can get her own at a better than average rate. Her EB team is going to have a bunch of playmakers when the ball is in their hands. As long as everyone plays unselfishly and for one another, they should make a big run this upcoming season against the competition that they will have to match up against.

Kreighton Peck Kreighton Peck 5'6" | CG East Buchanan | 2026 State IA is a dawg. Someone that works hard on both ends of the floor, never taking a play or possession off. She has a sneaky ability to beat her opponents off the dribble consistently and that has been on full display a good amount this AAU season already. She has displayed that she is a relentless worker in any sport she is competing in, while showing a ton of promise. If she ends up beating her opponent into the lane, she can score with a nice finish at the rim, a floater in the midrange, or a pull up. Not to mention that she is a willing and able passer whenever someone else becomes open as a play unfolds. Peck is someone that should have some interest as she gets older to compete in a few sports at the next level by the looks of it. She is a solid player, that also is pretty good on the track field as well. So at the end of the day, I wouldn’t be shocked if she ended up competing in both at the next level in some form.

Kreighton Peck Kreighton Peck 5'6" | CG East Buchanan | 2026 State IA goes from being on the Wait List to #35 in this Players Rankings Update. Peck, a 5’7 combo guard, is another player out of this group that has a diverse game. She is a player who can move between the 1 or the 2 position depending what is asked of her by her coaches. I would say that her best ability is scoring the ball or creating for others off of the dribble. For her size she holds her own defensively and when it comes to rebounding she is not afraid of physicality or getting into it with bigger players. Some thing that speaks to her tenaciousness and dedication when it comes to the game of basketball. With a good summer season leading into the fall you could expect Peck to continue up this list, but only time will tell.
