McCray Grabbed my attention last season playing her age as well as moving up and doing some damage with her organization’s older squad see evaluations here so it didn’t take me long to realize her potential. Her “poise under pressure” will translate quickly when she enters high school, so will her “never takes a play off” mentality as she brings heat on both ends. Her court vision across the board looks better, she’s finishing stronger off the dribble and her pull-up jumper looked good

McCray has been on my radar for a minute see evaluations here, and seeing her drop it from midcourt towards the end of the game had me smiling because she was in the rhythm. She’s a “long and athletic” guard with a strong first step, yet her finishing after contact off the dribble is a plus, so is watching her create her shot to drop it from outside

McCray continues to show me how versatile she is, and knowing she understands how to create her shot and drop the jumper as well as score off the dribble, her rebounding on both end,s as well as “on the ball” pressure, stood out, so did her playing the passing lane and seeing the floor

McCray has some serious upside and she already understands how to split defenders and score off the dribble. Her court vision is nice, and so is her pull-up jumper yet the “on the ball” pressure she applies baseline to baseline helps to create turnovers and she too plays the passing lane
