Kyla Mason Kyla Mason 6'1" | PF Xavier | 2023 State IA finished off her senior year with a bang and really showed that she was one of the best players at the forward position during each game this past season. Mason, a Central College women’s basketball commit, is a solid player on the floor with a game that thrives off of physicality. She does a great job creating space with her body while being to go up and finish through contact. At the next level she will be a player that you can put at your 3 or 4 spot while trying to give her a mismatch on offense so that she can score some easy buckets for the squad at a consistent rate. She ends her high school career ranked #33 in the 2023 class, a nice spot considering that this is her first time on the list. The Xavier Saints are going to miss her presence down-low but its time for her to take her talents to the next level and show everyone what she can really do.

Kyla Mason Kyla Mason 6'1" | PF Xavier | 2023 State IA has been the reason for the Saints dominance in the paint this season, showing off that she is a problem on the offensive side of the floor for her opponents. Mason, a Central college women’s basketball commit, has put together quite the season. She has been taking up space in the lane, scoring at will, rebounding efficiently and really making her presence know when she is on the floor, which is basically the entire game at this point for this group. Masons play down low speaks for itself. She is a physical player that is not afraid to get some bruises on the way to a victory for her team. Not to mention that her touch and offensive play shows all the work that she has put in over the past few years, all coming to fruition for her senior season. Going forward she is going to have to keep up her aggressive play style and smart decision making. If she does that and the pieces around her knock down some open looks then this team is in a prime spot to be right back in that state championship game once again.
