the shooting guard for the Lady Rockets saw all kinds of defenses at the scrimmage. Even though she was the main focus of every team defense she still was creating opportunities to score for her team. A tough shooter off the dribble and coming off screens still makes her a hard match up for opposing teams.
The East Central University signee reached the 1,000 point mark last season and I expect her to finish her career over that 1,500 mark.

Sharpshooter who recently committed to East Central. Pure shooting form was on display in early, quick repeatable release. An encouraging sign continues to be how well she played off the dribble. When defenders commit to deny her jumpers, she’s more confident as a driver. Then was a crafty and strong finisher even when covered. Sneakily becoming one of the better all around scorers in the Class of 2025.

An off the dribble weapon, Ross is one of the more proficient pull up shooters in Oklahoma. She made it rain all summer long with impressive highlights and quickly getting into her shot off the dribble. If she’s not accounted for in transition, odds are it’s quickly going up after she crosses halfcourt as she has that type of range. Which has quite the impact of spreading out the defense. Ross is staying in Oklahoma, as she’s picked in state D2 program, East Central as her future home. But expect her to be a red hot shooter this winter for the Lady Rockets.

A point guard that can play either the 1-2 spots on the floor. A nice pocket hesitation off the dribble allowed her to drop the shoulders and get downhill. Great finisher at the rim and has really excelled in finding the open player on the backside. Excellent shooter that needed no space to get her shot off.
The East Central University commit has had a great summer and her team went 2-0 Saturday. Oklahoma Aces look to close out their season Sunday with a win

An outstanding scorer that got hot in a Saturday game knocking down 6 from beyond the arch. Excellent shooter off the dribble that creates the space needed to get her shot off. In the 2 man game of pick and roll she is tough to handle as she can shoot over the screen but yet patience enough to let the roll develop. Good decisions when ran off the 3 point line looking for the lay up or kick to an open teammate.
Defensively she is a scrapper when it comes to getting on the floor for those 50/50 balls. Showed great judgement on when to jump the passing lane with out fouling in the press

Kylie is a scoring guard has scored over 1,000 points in her career. An excellent 3 point shooter in transition and half court sets. Great shooter off the ball screen that makes defense fight over the top. A very excellent student in the classroom as well. Named to several All Tournament teams during her career.

Videos Available on Ross’ social media pagernShooter! The Mount Saint Mary lead guard recently posted highlights from a local AAU event and she was on fire from deep. She has great form and rhythm getting into pull up jumpers. From pushing it up the court and attacking weak spots, to operating out of ball screens, she has the look of a pure shooter. The first highlight package also ended with her making good pitch aheads and reads in transition, showing good unselfish play.
The second batch of highlights watched were a 26 point, playoff performance against Chandler. It was more of the same, with even deeper threes for Ross in that game. It looked like that anytime the defense sagged off, even a few feet from beyond the three pointer, Ross was pulling it. Based on these two highlights, she’s a must watch prospect this spring.

I look back through my notes at the couple of times I’ve seen Kylie in person and they all say pretty similar things. “Quick.” “Handles.” “Unafraid.” As you can see from this video from her 1,000 point game, Kylie gets downhill to the rim in a hurry. She sees an opening or weakness in the defense and exploits it quickly. She finishes strong, through contact, and hits her free throws. On top of that, she is involved in every single play for her team. Not to mention that she is only a junior and just hit 1,000 points. She is a big time prospect, you guys. For real.

Kylie is a guard that can flat out score. A guard that can shoot off the dribble whether it a screen or just creating her space. Solid ball handler that has good vision in the open floor. Aggressive guard that does not mind getting in the mix probably the reason for the face mask she wears. Kylie was named All Conference Team last season as a sophomore. I expect her to have a great season and the offers to be coming.
