Kyra is athletic, long, and has great mobility for her height. She caught a pass in the paint and absorbed contact to finish the and-one. Kyra closed out hard with a high hand to block a shot and jumped passes on the perimeter to cause deflections/steals. She showed her confidence from three, draining a triple from the wing, and was active on the boards. Kyra has towering 6-foot-plus length, and she had a solid weekend for Dream Loudly Basketball EYCL 17U at the PGH MI College Tour III.

Kyra has the physical attributes and fundamental skillset of a true high-level post prospect. She was a big name attending the P2W Headliners Invitational and earned a higher ranking. Kyra is effective in screen and roll actions. She also has the range and confidence to bury jumpers on the perimeter. Kyra finishes through contact with power and protects the rim as a shot blocker. Kyra wins interior battles for positioning and rebounds. She’s mobile, versatile, and a pillar player in the Lansing Catholic program.

Kyra towered above the competition at the Headliners Invitational, and she showed all the qualities of an elite forward prospect. Kyra secured several rebounds on both ends and scored through contact with strength at the rim. She demonstrated confidence as a perimeter shooter, draining multiple shots outside. Kyra attacked off the dribble and earned All-Showcase Third Team recognition.

Kyra was a top performer for Team Sparks, standing out as an intriguing prospect with her rare blend of size, skill, and versatility. She showcased her ability to stretch the floor with confidence, knocking down shots from the perimeter, yet also displayed the strength and control to attack off the dribble. Kyra was dominant on the glass, securing rebounds on both ends and turning them into scoring opportunities. Her poise around the rim and ability to finish through contact made her a constant matchup problem and a key contributor for her team.

Kyra is a force in the paint, using her length and strength to dominate on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she finishes through contact and makes herself a reliable option around the rim. On defense, she’s a true anchor—altering shots, blocking attempts, and making it tough for opponents to score inside. Her presence alone changes the game, and she continues to prove she’s one of the toughest interior players to go up against.

Kyra will be towering over every prospect in the gym at the Headliners Invitational–she has length to spare at 6-foot 4! Kyra performed at a high level for MBA UAA during the travel season and picked up an offer from Hope in September. She finishes well with both hands, extends her range to drain shots from the perimeter, protects the rim, rebounds, and plays effectively off two feet. Kyra has the fundamental skills and height needed to be an excellent addition to a college program. I can’t wait to see her compete on Sunday.

Kyra made her presence felt as a powerful post player who controlled the paint on both ends of the floor. She established deep position inside, finishing strong through contact and battling relentlessly for rebounds. Defensively, she held her ground against bigger opponents and altered shots with her strength and timing. What made her performance even more impressive was her ability to step out and connect from beyond the arc, showing her versatility and expanding her offensive game. Kyra’s blend of power, skill, and range makes her a tough matchup for any defender.

Kyra didn’t have a varsity team to play for last season as Lansing Catholic did not field a team, so I was thrilled to see her back on the court for MBA-UAA 2027 at the Mother’s Day Classic. She scored a nice drop-step layup with a soft touch off the glass, stepped outside to drain a wing three, and knocked down a mid-range jumper. Kyra made a great backdoor cut, caught the pass, transferred the ball quickly, and finished the layup off two feet through contact–then swished her free throw. Kyra scored another layup with touch off a screen and roll–she has the height and skills to be a solid prospect.

Lansing Catholic will have a new look this winter and I expect Kyra to be a marquee player for the Cougars. Kyra had an excellent travel season and was one of the best center prospects at the Expo in September. Kyra uses her length to block shots inside and is very difficult to defend because of her footwork in the low post. Kyra has added muscle to her frame and is an effective mid-range shooter. She gives the Cougars an advantage finishing at the rim and securing rebounds. Kyra will be a breakout player for Lansing Catholic in 2024.
