Sophie was an unstoppable force for Team 11 at the PGH Michigan Expo. She slashed and scored at will, muscling her way to the cup and finishing efficiently with strength at the rim. Sophie demonstrated excellent ball-handling control, a variety of dribble combo moves, crafty footwork in the lane, body control, and a soft touch in traffic. Here are a few highlights from her outstanding day: quick crossover drive-by-finish, pocket dribble hard drive fouled, aggressive take, absorbs the contact and finishes, splits the gap drive-by and-one finish to close out the game. She crashed the boards to secure the rebound and scored the putback. Sophie took the ball to the basket like a running back on a hard drive, then scored through contact for an and-one layup. She used her shoulder to create space on a drive and finished strong off two feet. Sophie side-stepped the final defender in the lane, scored on the opposite side of the rim, and showed off her hops by climbing an invisible ladder to score a contested bucket in the lane. She used a pocket dribble to get a defender off balance, switched gears with a quick crossover, then said see ya later, dropping in a soft floater in the lane. Sophie has athleticism, quickness, aggressive instincts, and dynamic abilities as a slasher that translate directly to the next level. In the biggest moment, she delivered a memorable performance in front of college coaches and PGH scouts.

Sophie is one of those multidimensional guards who can set the tone physically, attack downhill, finish in traffic, rebound, and make an impact on the defensive end. She competes with a high motor, is very aggressive, and scores through contact. Sophie should have more offers/interest at this point in the recruiting game, and I’m looking forward to her turning the heads of college coaches at The Expo on Saturday.

Sophie is an uncommitted 2027 combo guard I would love to see at The Expo because of the versatility she brings to the floor. She is comfortable running the offense and handling point guard responsibilities, but she can also slide off the ball and be a scoring threat. Sophie is an athletic, explosive guard who uses her bounce to elevate around the rim and has the strength and body control to finish through contact. She also contributes on the glass, using her athleticism and toughness to come away with rebounds in traffic. On the defensive end, Sophie competes with a high motor and can make things difficult for opposing guards. Her ability to run an offense, score the basketball, defend, rebound, and impact multiple areas of the game gives her a well-rounded skill set that college coaches should get a chance to see at The Expo.

Sophie was one of the more intriguing two-way players at the Davenport Elite Camp and showed the type of game that could translate well to the college level. She consistently impacted play on both ends of the floor, combining athleticism, toughness, and effort throughout the day. During the 5v5 sessions, Sophie showcased her explosiveness by elevating above defenders for several impressive finishes in the lane. She also demonstrated her strength and body control, converting tough baskets through contact and earning an and-one opportunity. Beyond her scoring, Sophie was active on the glass and routinely came away with rebounds in traffic. Defensively, she competed with a high motor and physical approach, making things difficult for opponents. Her athleticism and bounce stood out throughout the camp, helping make her one of the more productive guards in attendance.

Sophie is a dynamic guard who leverages her speed and athleticism to general crucial turnovers and spark her team defensively. She springs the floor with purpose, capitalizing on transition opportunities, and showcases impressive body control to finish strong at the rim, even through contact. I’m excited to watch more of Sophie this winter, and expecting her to have an even bigger spring and summer.

Sophie is a lockdown defender who takes pride in her defense. She uses her speed to get past her defender and has good body control around the rim, allowing her to finish through contact. Sophie is also a good decision-maker when she has the ball in her hands. She excelled at the Drive training, and I’m looking forward to watching her play with her East Kentwood team this winter.
