Lana has established herself as one of the top shooters in New England as just a sophomore. Standing at 6 feet, she can shoot right over defenders with a high release that’s difficult to contest. She averaged 14.5 points and 8 rebounds during her team’s title run and will play for MCW Starz this AAU season. Her range extends well beyond the arc, and she shoots with consistent confidence.

There wasn’t much of a familiarity with Orietas’ game in the past. However, after getting a chance to watch her play over the weekend, it not farfetched to say she’s one of the more talented ’29 players around. She has great size, sports a soft touch around the rim, covers a lot of the court in her long strides, displays upper-level agility and can stretch the floor with ease. With the Nickerson tournament coming up, she’ll present some interesting induvial advantages. It wouldn’t be surprising to hear that Lana was a major influence for Berkshire in some of these highly anticipated matchups.

Lana was knocking down the longball looking fluid especially in semi transition from early on. Orietas was an important part of the team’s attack in this one. Her fast decision-making along with efficiency in this one made her noteworthy. The defensive versatility she provided was also quite beneficial.
