Maddie does a good job lowering her shoulder and powering through multiple layers of defense to get to the rim. On the defensive end, she moves her feet well and uses her hands to poke the ball away and force turnovers. She’s also good at contesting shots without fouling and can block shots in the paint. Maddie adds another layer to her offensive game with a nice floater and fadeaway from the mid-range.

Maddie is a strong finisher at the rim who moves well without the ball, making timely cuts for easy scoring opportunities. She uses a smooth euro step to navigate around defenders and has a reliable floater in the paint. She also does a great job advancing the ball up the court with smart, accurate passes.

Maddie had a strong sophomore season, averaging 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists while helping her team reach the Section 1 Class A Final Four. She plays fast in transition, using long strides to push the ball up the court. She operates well off ball screens, stepping into pull-up shots from both three and the mid-range. Her shifty handle allows her to beat defenders quickly and attack the basket with confidence.
