Lanie impressed showing she was one of the top shooters in the building. She used the glass to bank in shots and calmly knocked down the buzzer beater three to end the half. She shot the ball well from both the mid range and the three. She showed good touch around the basket and was great on defense.

Lanie opened the travel season in a big way, scoring 21 points with six made threes while also adding four blocks. She’s a high-level shooter from deep, capable of creating just enough space with one quick move to get her shot off. Even with tight contests, she knocks down shots confidently. On the defensive end, she brings effort and versatility, blocking shots both in the paint and out on the perimeter.

This is a young kid that enjoys the work! When you watch an athlete put in the time to get better, you know their heart is in it! Lanie has a quick release and she is ready to let it fly from anywhere on the floor. She has a good outside shot and she is smart with her shot selection. You may see this kid on a few WV courts. However, she is taking her talents to Bishop Walsh School for her high school years. Check out one of her highlights:
