Willis finished her career like others on this list at the hands of Harpring, Elder, and Marist. She played well in that game despite being at the top of the defensive scouting report. She showed how far she had come as a player in four years when she started out as “a kid that can really shoot the three” to finishing as a accomplished scorer who can and did hurt defenses the later part of her career. She has developed a very good midrange game and become efficient and effective attacking the basket. She hit some tough, contested shots against Marist, something she will need to do on the next level to be successful. She can and I think she will at Texas A&M Corpus Christi where she will continue her basketball career. She is a proven winner and coach’s kid and with the style of basketball TAMU CC plays, she should be a very good fit for the Lady Islanders.

Laura, like Harpring, was surrounded by defenders all night forcing her into more a facilitator-type role early in the game. Willis created for her teammates and herself off the dribble. She made several very impressive passes resulting in easy scores for her team. Like Harpring, when her teammates stepped up and started scoring some of the defensive pressure was released and Willis was giving a little more space to operate. She knocked a shot from three, scored on a finger role under the defender with her left hand, and hit a tough shot on the baseline falling away. Willis can score and that should translate well on the the next level where she will attend and continue to play at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Willis drew the tough assignment of guarding the state’s number one player and one of the very best players in the 2026 class in the country. Willis was a little undersized but worked hard the entire game to try and limit Harpring. Willis knows the game well and has a lot of experience from North Oconee’s late season playoff runs. She is a very skilled player on offense that can really shoot the ball. She also did a good job using head fakes and jab steps to create space to score. North Oconee ran most of the offense through Willis and she did a good job scoring and facilitating for her teammates.

A recently minted Texas A&M Corpus Christi commit, Lolly started off her senior season with a bang with 19 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 4 steals in a 69-31 win over Loganville. Willis cashed in on three threes while mixing in left-handed finishes, floaters and mid-range pull-ups. Willis doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses in her offensive game. She’s smooth with the ball and has terrific functional strength when absorbing contact on drives.

The sturdy guard has steadily prepared her body for the next level and now looks ready-made for college basketball. Willis punishes late closeouts with her three-point stroke and is deceptively quick when attacking the rim. She finishes well with either hand and thrives as a baseline driver, using her shoulders to play through contact. Her body control allows her to convert from tough angles. D-II programs should have Willis circled as a priority if D-I options don’t come through.

Lolly led North Oconee to the league championship, beating Oconee County 43-33. North Oconee finished the league 6-1; really 6-0 as the middle school team played Week 1 – their only loss. Willis shined in front of Young Harris, posting 15 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. Lolly drilled three threes, hit a mid-range jumper, had a lefty layup and had a physical drive on the left side, finishing with her right hand after she shrugged a defender off her as she created contact. Willis landed on the All-League First Team as she averaged 14 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.4 steals with 9 threes over five games. Laura Frances should be a priority recruit at the D-II level if D-I options don’t materialize. Her polish and understanding of the game should allow her to play right away at the next level.

I really love the body control of Willis. She excels as a baseline attacker, using her shoulders to score through contact when playing off two feet. Lolly scores from tough angles. She took over in the second half to lead North Oconee past Lanier, finishing with 16 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 4 steals and 1 block in a 43-34 win to remain in the title hunt.

Lolly had an easy 18 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 block in a blow out win. Willis makes the defense pay when they are late to close out on the perimeter with her three-point shooting. Willis is a deceptively agile athlete that can get to the rim and finish with either hand. She has added muscle over the course of her career to prep for life in college.

Lolly poured in 19 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in a 73-61 win over Warner Robins. Willis got off to a hot start with a pair of threes and a left-handed layup in transition. She displayed keen footwork with a step-through bucket inside and also sank a one-dribble pull-up while going 5-5 from the line.

Lolly will be the unquestioned go-to girl on the perimeter for the Titans this season after the graduation of YaYa Peavy. Willis is a knockdown shooter that can catch opponents off balance with her wiggle off the dribble. Staying healthy for a full season could lead to a breakout year.
