She also can take the ball coast to coast and make a beautiful Euro Step layup in transition. Brown also gets a lot of points off rebounds and at the free throw line. Her timing and length allow her to block shots.

showed off her range knocking down two three pointers to start the game, and it didn’t stop there. She anticipated what her opponents were going to do jumping in front of passing lanes. She attacked the basket even making three points the old fashioned way. She took care of things in the paint blocking shots. She did well bringing the ball up the court and making the dish to her teammates filling the open lane in transition.

Brown is a forward who can score from anywhere on the floor. At 6’1 Brown has elite handles and can create space to get down hill and can finish in the mid range. On the defense end Brown uses her athleticism to guard multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes. Her scoring ability, playmaking and competitiveness make her a rising force in the 919 area.

has a nice crossover and step back move that she’s used to put up her shot. She can expand the floor scoring from all over, and she does a nice job flashing in and out of the paint looking for the entry pass. She takes that versatility to the other end of the court being able to guard a range of players using her length to cause problems all over the court.

is fun to watch. She plays with full effort every moment she is on the court. She creates for herself and her teammates, she defends with pride, and she has fantastic court vision. Over the weekend, she scored 20 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, passed for 2 assists, and created multiple steals in a win over Cardinal Gibbons. Brown is an elite sophomore who continues to get better and better.
