The number 3 player in Wisconsin’s Class of 2028 put together an impressive showing at the PGH Champions Challenge, helping lead the Purple Aces to a 3-1 record in tournament play. She’s an unselfish player from what I observed, a reliable shooter knocking down contested three pointers when needed. On top of that she made her presence felt on the defensive end.

The Stevens Point wing is a player who turned heads late in the AAU season last summer, and it’s easy to understand why that happened. Awe is a 6’2 wing who can handle, shoot, and finish around the basket, and everyone who see’s her believes there is so much talent there, that it’s hard to pass up that talent and potential, and some of the programs you’ll find at the highest levels of the college game have offered her because of how high her ceiling is. She has all the tools to continue improving well into her college career.

The Stevens Point wing may be the most improved player among her peers. Last summer, Awe was a rangy forward who could block shots, showed potential with the ball in her hands, and could do some things on the perimeter, and it felt like she turned a corner at some point over the last handful of months. I’d say the 2028 who has asked me the most about in this group is

Leah’s last name describes her game! There is definitely an ‘awe’, a respect and admiration to her game, especially in how she can confidently play from anywhere! She is sharp with her footwork on the block, particularly when her back is to the basket. Doesn’t matter if passes aren’t thrown accurately- she makes it work! Elevates for boards, a polished shooter from outside- she’s a nightmare to stop!
