Leah, a long and athletic guard set to play for West Michigan Drive this spring and summer, is ready to make her return to the AAU circuit after missing last season due to a torn ACL. Now back and looking healthy, she brings a dynamic skill set that allows her to impact the game in multiple ways. Leah can attack the basket with purpose, knock down shots from the perimeter, and use her length and versatility to defend several positions on the floor. Her comeback story will be one to watch, and she’ll look to make an immediate impact this Sunday as her team competes in the Grassroots Spring Opener in Grand Rapids.

Leah missed a significant amount of time due to injury, but she’s back on the court and off to a great Junior season for Hamilton. Leah’s long frame, passing instincts, athleticism, defensive presence, and ability to score at all three levels make her a top 25 guard in this class.

Leah is set to return for her junior season after missing last year with an ACL injury, and her comeback is one to watch. Leah contributed on both ends at The Expo on Saturday. She brought the ball up under pressure from a pesky defender and used a combination of crossovers, behind-the-back snaps, between-the-legs, and jabs to win the matchup: then Leah finished the contested layup off two feet. Leah used her length and defensive effort to generate stops for her team. She earned All-Showcase Third Team Honors for her performance.

Leah put together a complete performance at The Expo with Team 10, demonstrating the qualities that have impressed our staff many times. Leah swept the ball past her defender to drive baseline and draw a foul, then knocked down her free throw. She used lateral quickness to cut off a ball handler and force her to travel. Leah showed her excellent footwork in the paint, using a high rip step through pivot to score at the rim. Leah used her length to block a shot in the paint and turned her steal into a layup.

Leah has length, burst off the dribble, and defensive abilities that make her a game breaker on both ends of the court. Leah has a smooth pull-up jumper off the dribble and balance finishing around the basket. She will be a guard who I anticipate will have a great day at The Expo on Saturday.

Leah is an athletic guard who makes positive contributions to her team on both offense and defense. She had numerous steals that led to scoring opportunities for herself or her teammates last Sunday. She is skilled at driving to the basket and demonstrates excellent body control in the lane. Brink’s performance improved throughout the spring and summer, and I anticipate that she will have a successful sophomore season at Hamilton.

Leah has impressed our scouts on the travel circuit with her athleticism and height as a versatile guard who impacts the game in positive ways for her team on both sides of the ball. Leah blocks shots, deflects passes, scores by attacking defenders with her dribble, and has an accurate pull-up jumper. She utilizes her length and athleticism to block many shots, anticipates well, and secures numerous steals and deflections. Leah will be a sophomore to watch this season.
