‘s energy and effort on both sides of the ball are contagious, pushing her teammates to match her intensity. Figueroa can also knock down the three-ball effectively, making her one of the most versatile guards in Florida’s 2028 class. In a fall league game in Charlotte, she displayed impressive confidence on the floor, playing with great energy—and showing that same enthusiasm even when on the bench. Expect Figueroa to have several big performances this season for her Doral team, which utilizes everyone in its system. I predict multiple 10+ point games for her this year.

Laila has jumped up four spots after showing out at the Sophomore ID Camp. Her energy and effort on both sides of the ball is contagious and pushes her teammates to match that level of intensity. She can score it from all three levels and plays unselfishly which is a huge part of Doral’s success in past seasons. This year will be huge for her as a key underclassmen for Doral.

Leila is one of the most exciting players to watch because she is always on-go and hustling on every single possession. Her step through move was really tough to defend on Saturday, and she was scoring it from all three levels with consistency. On defense, her hands are active and she uses her length to disrupt any offensive rhythm. Fig was one of the most versatile and unselfish players as she shared the rock very well and did whatever was needed to help her team succeed.

Leila has moved into the Top 40 and this is only the start for her. She has really good length and is a great athlete. Her non-stop motor and intensity on the defensive side of the ball are two aspects of her game that will attract college coaches. Fig can also knock down the 3 ball effectively as one of the most versatile guards in Florida’s 2028 class.
