She is a big guard who can secure the ball and immediately push the break, creating opportunities in transition for herself and her teammates. Mallory uses her strength to score through contact inside, but her offensive game extended out to the midrange and even beyond the three-point line. She thrives in transition and brings a physical presence when attacking the basket. Her summer performances generated plenty of college attention, resulting in offers and growing interest. Mallory was one of the top performers in the 2028 class over the summer.

She was arguably Ribault’s go-to player at the Camden Shootout, showing the ability to score inside and, just as importantly, defend the paint. Mallory has the body and strength of a power forward with the agility of a guard, giving her the versatility to make an impact on both ends of the floor. She can defend inside or step out on the perimeter, while offensively she is capable of scoring from both areas as well. Her play throughout the summer earned her offers and, perhaps just as importantly, plenty of respect. Mallory enters the season poised to play a major role in helping Ribault make a push toward the Open Division.

Over the summer, Mallory showed she can score on the inside through contact, score on the break, pull up in the midrange area, and knock down the occasional three pointer. Defensively, Mallory can defend on the perimeter and can also defend inside with great instincts and shot blocking ability. At the Reps on Reps showcase, she also put pressure on the paint. Mallory has good ball handling skills and knows how to drive to the rim and score. She can beat a defender off the dribble, but also score in the paint using footwork and leverage. Mallory is a rare guard whose size and versatility create problems for the opponent- guards and forwards.

Gabby Mallory elevated her game throughout the summer and was one of the biggest standouts I saw at the Wildcat Shootout in Camden. Based on her production and impact on both ends of the floor, she was arguably one of the top five performers at the event. Mallory scores from the mid-range, attacks the basket with confidence, runs the floor well in transition, and brings a physical presence on both ends of the court. Defensively, she protects the paint, blocks shots, rebounds, and impacts the game in numerous ways. Her summer performance left a lasting impression, and showed the growth that takes a team from good to very good.

Mallory was one of the biggest standouts of the summer, putting together impressive performances that showcased the complete package. At the Wildcat Shootout, she displayed her ability to score at all three levels, knocking down shots from beyond the arc, creating offense in the mid-range, and finishing around the basket. Her impact wasn’t just on the offensive end. Mallory was equally effective on defense, hitting the glass, protecting the rim, and consistently altering or blocking shots. Her ability to block shots in the paint was attributed to her size and strength. Mallory has the size and agility to play the 2,3, or 4. She has versatility on both ends of the floor and can affect the game in so many different ways. She was one of the most complete and impressive performers of the summer.

Mallory has always been impressive just from her physical presence alone. Combined with her size, speed, and off-the-chart potential, she has become one of the most intriguing big guards in the 2028 class. Mallory can drive to the rim and score against physicalilty and during the June summer period, Mallory showcased her developing perimeter game. At the Wildcat Shootout, Mallory was close to unstoppable and impacted all three phases of the game. Her ability to rebound and go, and her sneaky shot blocking ability, are two skills that really stood out. She garnered a lot of interest in June, and the July live period could really be special for the rising 2028 prospect.

Mallory was one of the most productive players scoring the ball in the paint, and in a variety of ways, for a very good Ribault team, who played the best competition at the event. Without a true post player and being the tallest player on her team, she did a lot of damage inside while showing a lot of skill and touch. She was excellent attacking the basket off the dribble, as well as running the lanes on the fast break and scoring in transition. In isolation situations she showed patience in allowing her teammates to clear out so she could go to work. There were no forced shots or wasted dribbles when she had the basketball in her hands. She was very efficient using or two dribbles as well as pivoting and using shot fakes to get the defender off their feet before finishing with nice touch around the rim. Mallory shot the ball from the perimeter as well. She performed very well in other areas of the game, rebounding the ball at a high clip while serving as a deterrent for opposing teams on defense.

Gabby impacted the game in a variety of ways and showed a strong all-around skill set. She made a great pass to a post player running the floor and later delivered a nice kick-out pass that led to a three. Defensively, she protected the rim with blocked shots and made her presence felt around the basket. One of her best plays came when she used a shot fake to get her defender off balance before attacking the rim for a physical and-one finish through contact. She worked hard to establish position on the glass and rebounded well throughout the game. Gabby also rolled hard to the rim in pick-and-roll situations which created scoring opportunities and put pressure on the defense.

Gabi Mallory has great size from the guard spot and gives her team a strong interior scoring presence with the ability to attack gaps in the defense and convert around the basket. Mallory also flashes the ability to shoot the midrangem from the freethrow line and in. shows toughness operating inside, consistently finding openings against zone defenses and delivering productive scoring stretches during critical moments. Her assertive offensive approach and ability to provide stability in the halfcourt make her an important piece offensively.

At 5’10, Mallory has a college-ready build, and seeing her handle the ball at 5’10, combining size, speed, and fluidity, is an impressive sight. Mallory attacked the rim with physicality, using her size and strength to finish through contact. Athletic and active, she also showed the ability to knock down the short jumper and finish in the paint.
