A tough competitor on both sides of the ball. Knox is a player that will do all of the dirty work if necessary to win games. She is hardnosed on the defensive end and on the glass. Offensively, she is explosive getting to the rack. She also is an excellent passer and knows how to pick the defense apart.

Morgan had a great weekend and caught many coaches’ eyes with her toughness and hardnosed play. She is physically strong which makes her difficult to guard when she attacks hard downhill. Knox is also a force on the glass at her position. One of her best attributes is her playmaking ability with her vision to see things that are happening on the court. She can make the right pass at the correct time. Defensively, she gives 100 percent at all times.

Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC was ready to leave it all out on the court from the beginning diving on the floor for loose balls to get the possession for her team.  She anticipated what her opponents were going to do jumping in the passing lanes and pushing it up the court.  Her ability to grab offensive rebounds was definitely an asset for her team extending the possession, and she attacked the basket with ease making tough shots at the rim.

Knox was another of the Vikings standouts that also concluded her evening on the Demon Deacons’ home court with a double-double. Adding West Most Outstanding Player recognition to winning this season’s 7A state championship, Knox pitched in 19 points and 11 rebounds as she and Joseph tallied more points than the entire Spartans team. Knox was one that Southern SES did not want to place at the free throw line as she would connect on nine of her 14 attempts from the charity stripe. She proved that she is every bit as dangerous a distributor as she is a scorer as denoted by her team-high four assists. Knox also came away with four steals. 

It will be hard to find anyone that competes harder than Morgan. Her tenacity and defensive prowess give her an edge. She is tough and competes at a high level the entire time she is on the court. She has a motor that is unmatched. Knox is also a beast on the boards and attacking downhill with the ball in her hands. She is strong enough to make three point plays the old-fashioned way.

Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC does well finding her open teammates as they flash to the block hitting them in stride to score some points.  She anticipates what her opponents are going to do knocking the ball away before the pass can reach their hands.  She knows how to change directions quickly getting by her opponents, and she hits her teammates with the perfect pass to score their own points.

If you want defensive intensity for 94 feet and someone that will work as hard as they can on every possession Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC can and will do that. She brings so much passion, energy and effort that she is a true joy to watch play the game. Her ability to use her strength and get downhill is her biggest asset offensively. Knox is also a great rebounder at her position.

Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC was all over the court handling the ball, pulling up for jumpers, grabbing steals, and talking to her teammates.  She is athletic with her moves making the right play to score, and she knows how to draw defenders towards her to get a play going for her teammates.  She balled out in the championship game hitting multiple three point plays the old fashioned way being able to score against anyone who tried to guard her at the rim.  She made sensational passes up the court finding her open teammates flashing to the block in transition.

Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC is so versatile on the court handling the ball and whipping the pass to her teammates or setting herself up for the bucket inside.  She does whatever it takes to gain the possession including diving on the floor for the loose ball.  She uses her body to create some space and protect the ball right before she elevates up and over her defender to score the bucket.

Morgan Knox Morgan Knox 5'8" | SF North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC moves all over the court showing her versatility being able to knock down shots from deep and get inside to battle for some points.  She doesn’t mind barreling to the rim with the ball protecting each possession.  You even see how much she loves her team from the bench when she’s using her breaks to stand up and cheer for her teammates staying engaged in the game.
