Expert Analysis

Lexi has silky smooth handles, and she was gliding across the floor with her dribble for Mystics 2026-S40 at Get Ready. She finished with touch around the basket and scored a soft floater off the glass. Lexi swished two confident triples on the perimeter–she has the prototypical physical measurements and playmaking skills of a next-level guard.

It’s not common to have a 5’11 point guard on your roster, but that’s exactly what Grand Ledge has with Lexi. She scans the floor to find open teammates in transition and quickly pushes the ball to generate transition offense. Lexi creates space from defenders with her footwork and combination dribble moves. She finishes with excellent balance and control around the basket. Lexi has a high-releasing jumper that has become more consistent from 3-point range and she uses her length to make stops on the defensive end. Lexi has the physical measurements and skills to be a highly recruited college guard; she will be exciting to watch with the Comets in 2024.

Lexi, A Second Team All Showcase selection at The PGH Michigan Expo, is a long guard who leverages her length on both offense and defense. She’s a solid ball-handler, able to manage pressure while seeing the floor and creating scoring opportunities for both herself and her teammates. Lexi thrives in pushing the pace, showing excellent body control around the rim, and scoring effectively at all three levels. Defensively, she also makes her presence known with frequent blocks. I’m expecting a big junior season this winter at Grand Ledge.

Her body control around the rim allowed her to finish strong, even in traffic. She also showed her shooting range by knocking down a deep three of the bounce. On defense, Lexi made her presence felt with several key blocks throughout the day.

Lexi was one of the most impressive guards in the gym at SVSU Elite Camp 2. During the finishing drills, Lexi effectively scored off two. She had a smooth touch with her left hand on layups and reverses. Lexi used a sick punch step crossover dribble move to score a contested layup, used a quick behind-the-back dribble to score in the paint, and buried a 3 up top. Lexi has good balance and a high release. She will reach her college potential as she shows consistency knocking down shots like she did today.

Raska did a little bit of everything at the Top 250 Expo. My notes on her were lengthy! When she played point guard, she would push the tempo and displayed excellent ball-handling ability. She was crafty getting to the basket and scored more than once on her step-through. She has a high IQ on the defensive end of the floor and was always in the right position to get multiple steals.

Raska is a terrific talent that has loads of game and upside to go with it. She’s a speedy guard that can make plays with the ball in her hand. Let’s not forget the fact that she can shoot with range extending past the 3 point line. Raska is a tough defender as well and she isn’t afraid to mix it up.

Every time I watch Lexie, she is everywhere on the court. She rebounds with more power than you would expect from her build. She is a solid, physical defender that has lockdown potential. She came off the weakside for multiple blocks, due to having great helpside defense. During drills, she was hitting deep threes with consistency.

Raska did a nice job getting set and balanced on her three point shot. She looked confident and ready from the corner. Raska will hit a lot more of those over the next 4 years.
