Expert Analysis
Danyle Bowers | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Breslyn did a good job of making herself available inside by consistently working to seal her defender and establish position. Once the ball came her way, she showed good footwork around the basket and the ability to operate in the paint. Breslyn also rebounded well and stayed involved around the glass. One of the more interesting parts of her performance came away from her traditional post responsibilities. She came up with a steal and took the ball coast-to-coast herself, showing she could handle in the open floor before finishing through contact at the other end.

Breslyn, playing on Team 3 at The Expo, gave her team a strong presence in the post. She consistently worked to establish position inside, using her body to seal defenders and create a target around the basket. Once she caught the ball, Breslyn showed good footwork and the ability to maneuver around the rim. She was also active on the glass, competing for rebounds and staying involved in possessions. One sequence showed another dimension to her game when she came away with a steal and took it coast-to-coast herself, putting the ball on the floor all the way to the basket and finishing through contact.

Breslyn is a very physical, strong, and determined interior player who could have a breakout day at The Expo. She made a great first impression at Michigan Premier practice a few months ago. Breslyn works hard to make an impact as a rebounder and goes up strong around the basket. She’s a forward prospect I’m excited to see go head-to-head against talented bigs from across the state.
