How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I take the court, I am intense. The quick pace of basketball, making an unexpected pass, blocking a shot, and stealing the ball energize me. My focus is locked in on leading my team and encouraging my teammates throughout the game. I love chasing an opponent and beating them to the basket to block their shot. My intensity gives me an edge.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mostly a quiet person but I give my full attention and effort to tasks set before me, no matter how serious, silly, complicated or basic. Working hard, listening to others who know more than me, and always striving to become a better person - those are things that matter to me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Zooaide Volunteers for 3 years, Beta Club, Castle Crew Member, National Honor Society, Run the Race Club volunteer, Altar Server, OLPH Community Festival volunteer, lots of Academic awards for Extra Effort and Student of the Month in various subjects, Superior at District Science Fair, Ohio State Science Fair participant

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was voted Team Captain for both Junior and Senior year for the BRHS girls Varsity Soccer Team and Captain of the girls Varsity Basketball Team senior year. This is my 3rd year on the varsity track team where working together on a relay team took us to Regionals 2 years in a row and to States last year (planning to win at States this year.) For three summers I have volunteered at the Columbus Zoo

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had 3 different coaches during my 4 years at Bishop Ready HS. It was challenging to maintain a good team dynamic when adjusting to different coaching styles and also in the times when we weren’t sure who would be coaching next. The experience actually created a deep bind between players because we needed to support each other through near constant change.
