A mark of a great point guard is presence. While not a demonstrative player Szabo directs her team with confidence. A great shooter with range, strong handles and quickness she advances three spots to #2. Szabo holds a few NCAA Div I offers including from Wichita State. The Fire routinely battle NJCAA and NAIA JV teams as well as private, KSHSAA and high schools from other states.

Szabo caught my attention after learning of her performance against Pratt Community College last fall. Fast forward through the Fire’s season she was selected to the The League’s finals all-tournament team following the league’s first season. Over the summer she played with a Missouri Phenom EYC team. Szabo was a National Athletic Association for Independent Schools all-league and finals all-tournament selection. A terrific shooter with a calm, deceptive floor presence who holds an offer from Wichita State. Read more about her below.

Szabo can light teams up from three point range but what she does with the ball in the half court can be scary. Working in the half court defenders have an extremely difficult time reading what she is considering doing. And with her quickness, strong handles and down the floor passing she is easily one of the top point guards in the state regardless of class. She holds an offer from Wichita State.
