Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a tall guard that has had to learn all positions for my school ball team. I’ve been called a Swiss Army knife by other coaches because I can offer a lot of options when on the court.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My parents would say perfectionist. When I plan to do something I want it done right, and the best. Whether it be my grades, effort on the floor, or keeping my life organized- I strive to be the best at everything!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have gotten the Award of Excellence for my class that only one girl and one boy received. I am in sources of strength which is a program at our school helping students feel safe and having a positive mindset. I help with events at the elementary school and work in the special needs classroom.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership has been the biggest skill I have developed. I am typically a very quiet person, but in the court I am very vocal and try to be the leader. I go to school after hours to shoot when available and encourage my teammates to join me as well.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
This last season was very tough. The freshmen went from only loosing 4 games in 7th and 8th grade combined to only winning 4 games. It was hard not to let the losses get in my head (being a perfectionist and all) but it made me dig my heels in deeper and train harder. I want to come back better than ever as a sophomore!
What type of college are you looking for?
One that has a homey campus but can offer a great education. I really want to be a pediatrician so one that could help me get on the track to help accomplish that!
