She consistently disrupted plays, coming away with numerous steals while also protecting the rim with several blocks. Lucy controlled the glass as well, securing plenty of defensive rebounds to end possessions, and she didn’t stop there—she also battled on the offensive boards to create second-chance opportunities. One highlight sequence saw her come up with a steal and quickly turn it into a scoring opportunity with a sharp assist to a teammate. Her energy and all-around defensive presence stood out throughout the day.

Lucy runs the floor well in transition, keeps her hands active on defense, crashes the glass to secure rebounds, and finishes inside. She protects the rim as a shot blocker and has athletic abilities that will draw attention.

Her ability to draw double teams in the paint opened up passing lanes, and she showed excellent court vision by kicking the ball out to open teammates. Lucy was Flint Metro League Stripes First Team All-Conference and she is a wing full of potential to be a solid next-level prospect. Her combination of three-level scoring ability, length, mobility, and burst off the dribble showed especially during the scrimmage. Lucy caught a pitch in the dribble drive, crossed over her defender, and drove with pace downhill to the basket. She closed out high hands on the perimeter to swat a shot with authority and finished the play with a layup. Lucy showed her outside range by drilling a smooth corner 3 off the catch. She lifted to the wing and buried multiple 3s off the hop during drills.
