Madison, the point guard for TC Elite , put together an impressive performance during the morning session at the Northwood College Tour. She controlled the game with her tight handle and ability to make smart reads, consistently putting her teammates in good positions. Her mid-range game stood out as well, knocking down a smooth pull-up jumper with confidence. Beyond her offensive skillset, Madison made her presence felt on both ends of the floor, competing defensively and contributing in multiple ways to help her team stay organized and effective throughout.

Maddy has great instincts on both ends of the court. She attacks hard downhill off the dribble, finishes with excellent body control in the paint, and has a soft floater in her bag. Maddy sinks mid-range pull-ups, distributes the ball effectively to teammates, makes the effort plays, and works hard defensively. She’ll be a point guard prospect from Fenton to watch in District 13.

Maddy started Northwood Team Camp strong for the Tigers. She maintains her balance when attacking off screens, knowing when to drive, shoot, or pass. Maddy used a screen on the wing and buried her pull-up jumper. She added two more dribble pull-ups from the corner and the elbow. Maddy drove hard to the basket, landed in a jump stop, then finished the contested floater off two feet. She pressured the ball to create steals on defense, raced up the court to score a transition layup, and drove by for a floater in the paint off two feet. Maddy is going to have a breakout season for Fenton and if you’ve been watching her play during the travel season, that statement comes as no surprise.

Maddie is a shifty, competitive, and athletic playmaker from Fenton. She caught my attention with TC Elite last year on the circuit and will be one of their best prospects again this spring. Maddie shouted “outlet” during the transition drill and finished layups efficiently with both hands off two feet throughout practice–planting her outside foot and propelling herself upward toward the basket. Maddie drives with a rapid burst downhill in the dribble drive and finished floaters with a soft touch. She shot accurate pull-up jumpers off the dribble and buried several wing 3s with a 1-2 step during drills. In the scrimmage, Maddy made a great read after taking the DHO and drained an elbow jumper off the dribble. She pushed the ball in transition and scored a strong and-one layup through contact. Maddy anticipated a pass in transition, sprinting in top gear to leap up and steal an outlet pass.
