Lydia was probably my favorite new-to-me name to watch Friday afternoon. She has an athletic frame, lower body strength, and she moves around the floor well in most directions. She handled the ball some in transition, she was aggressive off the bounce in the halfcourt, and she was able to finish with either hand inside. Because of her size and strength at her age, she has been utilized inside at times, but from what I was able to see, I think the wing is where she belongs, and now. She played with a nice motor, and I was impressed with her defensive versatility as well.
